AFM All-Nighter
I have a 20 page report due Tuesday regarding business decisions made in some online simulation game we played throughout my North American business course.
It's worth 20% of my mark.. perhaps more.
I asked some of my group members to do some of it by Friday to help me out.
Some submitted a paragraph of information of what should take up three pages. Some sent nothing at all.
So I'm here staying up all night putting together a fraction of my mark. And theirs.
I'm slowly going insane.
I'll be taking breaks and posting periodically.
Stay tuned for imgfave pictures, rants, more lyrics, and maybe a lookbook.
PS. Timmie's Candy Cane Hot Chocolate: I wanna do yah from every angle, anyday, anytime, anyplace.
That is all.

Make This House A Home
Kinda far away, but apparently by January you need to have your house or apartment booked or you're screwed.
The plan: Living with 2 of closest friends here (Alicia & Amanda) and maybe 1-3 more people.
Ideally, we want a house. We want to be able to decorate it and make it all cozy and function like a family, equipped with carefully planned unique Bath & Body Works scents in each room. :)
I couldn't ask for two better people to live with. They're both very intelligent, compassionate, and down-to-earth friends and remind me of my best friends back at home.
It'll be a change since we're so accustomed to cafeteria food.
I can't wait to start cooking my own meals. I forget what real food tastes like. I can cook enough to get by, but my father & his girlfriend are going to teach me to do even more stuff over the summer.
It'll be awesome sitting down every evening and continuing to have our infamous dinner discussion that seem to become gradually more hilarious every night while sipping on some wine and being around people you know you can rely on.
If I were to be the only guy, I guess I'd be the man of the house.. which I'm pretty used to given my living conditions in the past 2 years. I like being the protector. I want their parents to know they can trust me and I'm always watching out for them. My mom wasn't surprised to the slightest of this proposition. I've always done better around girls. I don't know.. I was raised to respect them and watch over them, being the old boy out of my generation of cousins. They're more composed and clean, traits I am most compatible with. And I guess it's my eagerness to be the protector.. which I've been told is my best trait, although I feel at times I can overdo it and it can be my downfall. It's the Aries in me, I suppose.
All in all, looking for houses and apartments has already been kinda fun and I look forward to start visiting places I'll be potentially calling home.

In The City of Blinding Lights
About time for a life update.
This weekend I gave myself a list of things to do, and was sure to complete everything that was not school-related.
Friday was great, got home and had tea with mom and filled each other in with our lives, then got ready for dinner and movies with Alex. Milestones Italian Sausage Ravioli with Basil = marry me. Anyway, Love & Other Drugs was a pretty good movie. Jake & Anne were flawless. Anne continues to be one of my favourite actresses.
Saturday morning I subwayed (L) down to the city to stay at my dad's. To my surprise, all the inner walls on the main floor were knocked down. He's renovating and going for a really downtownsy open concept. It was still being completed, but looked fucking sick. After dropping off my things, we headed over to Yorkville to eat at Ciao. Incredible restaurant. The best thing about having a dad in the industry is knowing the best date spots. Afterward, my dad had to head to work so his girlfriend and I walked over from the restaurant to Eatons and I helped her find stuff before Lysan came down. I honestly haven't laughed so hard in my life. She has the cutest Austrian accent and says the most outrageous comments about things she doesn't like. Shortly after, she left to go home to study for her pharmaceutical exam. Lysan got there we "Christmas shopped" for no one but ourselves. We felt horrible. Hence the Marble Slab afterward. I bought Aldo "chainsaw massacre murder" boots, a Zara coat, and my favourite cologne. Then I walked back to my dads and went to Epicure on Queen with my dad's girlfriend. Best dinner talk I've had in a while. I realized that night that we have a lot more in common than we think. We're both in science, but feel a sense of regret in not pursuing our dreams in the arts. She ordered me a Spritzer because she refused to understand the illegality of ordering an alcoholic beverage for a "minor" in Canada. Gotta love Austria. Afterward, she told me all the things she had done at her pharmacy in Austria and how impersonal the service was here and how artificial and cheap some of the products are here. She lectured me about natural tea remedies and brand names to trust and not trust. She's honestly like an encyclopedia. So smart, yet she never seems to fail to seize the day and find happiness and positivity in everything. I want to be more like her.

"Market Segmentation: ...Black Tweens... HEEEEY!"
So today I realized how in love I am with some of the people in my program.
I'm so glad I creeped the scibus office after my lab.
Basically it's a small room with couches and a computer in the earth sciences building to just hang out beside the bio hang out place.
It's the same thing, just less packed and more private.
It was like student council all over again.
You guys kill me.
I can't wait to chill in there more often and almost choke on plastic rocks and thinking they're candy, seduce people through the window, steal food from randoms, and drive around.
It's so good to know I'll have people who will constantly be with for the next 5 years that I genuinely love off.
Today was beautiful.
PS. Chicken "tenders" are for douchebags. ;)

If One Door Closes, Another One Opens
Frankly enough, I just slammed one shut and another flung open.
And for the first time in a long time, I feel that this has promise.
And for the first time in a long time, I feel that this has promise.
Sunrise
Only one month left.
I can finally see the finish.
I've worked way too hard to give up now.
I miss the people I love.
I miss the small things.. waking up to the smell of my Mom brewing coffee and the sound of her boyfriend making my brother laugh, to my Dad yelling at me about why I was out in the city too late while his girlfriend warmly smiles behind him, to the driving adventures with my true best friends.
I want it all back.
And I want to go back and give them a reason to be proud of me.
Not the kind of proud you throw around around with aquaintances to be nice,
I'm talking real, genuine pride.
I was going to stay this weekend for the science dance, which I'm sure will be amazing, but for personal reason, I need to go home.

The Dreamer and The Fascist
Let me take you back,
Back to sixteen.
Back to when our young hearts were racing,
Melting at the scene
To the warmth of your bed,
Questions racing in our heads,
You sealed my lips with your kiss
And your face turned beet red.
Yeah, that's when it started,
Shattered fragments gone whole-hearted,
We were going to lay like that forever, but then
Your chestnut eyes caught fire,
Burning hands on my chest perspired,
(Our hearts got beating a little faster,
Time for the beautiful disaster)
That would haunt me to my grave,
No hope of being saved.
You made me lay like that forever, right there.
The dreamer and the fascist,
Quite the match, quite the amore.
They'll be together forever,
The backstage romance, everyone stop and adore.
It's hard to bring it to an end,
When I can't stop myself from saying 'yes'.
You ask me if you hurt me,
Well look beneath my smile and take a wild fucking guess.
Too bad your lips taste of the Forbidden fruit,
Your words like a fascist.
I'd kill for the strength,
to make myself get past this.
The dreamer and the fascist,
Quite the match, quite the amore.
They'll be together forever,
The backstage romance, everyone stop and adore.
You think you've read the book of me,
There's talk of you writing the saga.
Too bad for you it's already been written,
From the last chapter on to omega.
Shitty you're not in it,
Didn't even make the chorus.
Fuck crying by the lake,
Like that did anything for us?
The dreamer and the fascist,
Quite the match, quite the amore.
They'll be together forever,
The backstage romance, everyone stop and adore.
Searching has gotten me nowhere,
From here on in I'll wait around.
Mama used to say stay in one place,
Only then can you be found.
Only then will I be found.

I Go Back To December All The Time
Listened to all of T Swift's new album today with Anna while doing homework. Nbd. Love this.
I Am Cannibal
Everytime you hear it or anything else that reminds you of me, I hope it gives you hell. :)
To All Those,
Who didn't think I had the potential,
Who wouldn't give me a second chance,
Who thought I was incapable,
Who said I didn't know what I want,
Who insisted I was making the wrong choice,
Who wouldn't give me a second chance,
Who thought I was incapable,
Who said I didn't know what I want,
Who insisted I was making the wrong choice,
Who bring down the world for me to my face and raise hell when I turn my back,
Who neglected to trust in me,
Who refused to believe I could do it on my own,
Who neglected to trust in me,
Who refused to believe I could do it on my own,
I told you so.
Yours truly,
Bo

Dear Ke$ha,
You're music is such a joke but still so unforgettable.
I have a heart
I swear I do
But just not, baby,
When it comes to you
I get so hungry when you say you love me
Hush if you know what's good for you
"Do What You Want To Do"
It's something so cliche that my guidance councillor would always say, but I was stupid enough to ignore her.
Truth be told, the program I'm in right now seemed like a good idea sometimes, but I always had my doubts.
Do I like my program? I'd say I'm content. Do I like the university? Not so much.
I want to live in the city. I want to live at/near home. I want to live near family.
They say education is a sacrifice, but it's a sacrifice I'm frankly not willing to make at the moment.
I don't give a fuck if I'm doing well. I'm thankful, I'm proud of myself, it feels great; but at the end of the day, I don't really like being here.
The atmosphere is depressing, I miss family & friends from back home, and I'm just starting to realize the limitations of my program.
It's good that I have something to fall back on, either science or business. After a couple of hours of research, I basically realized that most student go on to get their MBA and use their science background to give them an edge. This would be great for pharmecuetical sales (which interests me), but a lot of the times I see my personality more fit for something more exciting. I honestly don't know if I can bare a whole five fucking years here.
That's the other shitty thing.. if I want to apply to Pharm school, apparently I can do that after 2 years. Waterloo pharm requires another math and physics, and I don't think I could bare both that again or staying here.
Then there's the U of T Pharm school. Same requirements, but I have to write PCAT's as well. Honestly, I'm so down to just bust my ass next year, do calc and physics and the requried chem. This would require me to transfer into Honorus Bio or Chem though, which doesn't matter anyway because I don't give a fuck what program I'm in.. as long as I take the courses I need to take. Then I'll have to take 2 social/arts courses, so I could just take a year off to work and do part-time arts stuff as a break (drama & english <3). Afterwards, I could study for my PCAT and have all the pre-reqs and get into Pharm at U of T in the city and live at home.
I have quite a few really good friends here but the end of the day my heart is in Toronto. Life is about living it to the fullest, not going through the most pain to end up with "the best title". We'll see how this all ends up..

The Moment of Truth
I've worked on this puppy for quite some time now.
In a few hours it'll be make it or break it time.
I usually have no fear in presenting, but this is a huge chunk of my mark on the line this time.
Let's do this.

The Consequences of Knowledge
It sucks when you've finally gained the maturity to put the peices together in seeing that certain people you're supposed to look up to have a certain past that has been left a secret.
I want answers, but that comes at the cost of pain.
I think its best for me to swallow my curiousity and just love you for who you are.
At the end of the day, I'm going to have to.
I've known you all my life and always will.
So much of you has made me who I am, but with that certain topic, you've taught me what not to do.

Feel The Beat
Honestly haven't had so much unexpected fun in one night.
From cemeteries, to Jack's, to people popping out of the trunk of their cars, to blasting music and car dancing to other cars, to getting hit on by an Indian dad, to rando soccer games, watching a rando pedophile creep skateboarders, order and dashing at Timmie's, to picking up a drunk friend, to watching a drunk friend go into an Irish pub and freaking out when we realized she's been in there for 10 minutes, to more car dancing, and everything in between.
I love M&J.
You always make me feel rejuvinated.
PS. "I'm sober dad, what up?"

All I Want,
Is someone who doesn't just live each day like its something that needs to be overcome,
that there's more to life than how others perceive you, school, and who you plan to become.
I need to be reminded that I need to just let things fall into place,
while I take a spontaneous sudden turn into unexplored woods.
that there's more to life than how others perceive you, school, and who you plan to become.
I need to be reminded that I need to just let things fall into place,
while I take a spontaneous sudden turn into unexplored woods.
I need to be reminded that I'm not living to die- I'm dying to live.
Stolen Diary
You've been good, busier then ever.
We small talk, work and the weather
Your guard is up and I know why.
Cause the last time you saw me
Is still burned in the back of your mind.
You gave me roses and I left them there to die.
So this is me swallowing my pride,
Standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night,
And I go back to December all the time.
Turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you,
Wishing that I realized what I had when you were mine.
I'd go back to December, turn around and make it all right.
I go back to December all the time.
These days I haven't been sleeping
Staying up playing back myself leaving,
When your birthday passed and I didn't call.
And I think about summer, all the beautiful times
I watched you laughing from the passenger side
Realized that I loved you in the fall.
Then the cold came, the dark days when fear crept into my mind.
You gave me all your love and all I gave you was goodbye.
So this is me swallowing my pride,
Standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night.
And I go back to December all the time.
Turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you,
Wishing that I realized what I had when you were mine.
I'd go back to December turn around and change my own mind.
I go back to December all the time
I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile, so good to me, so right,
And how I held you in my arms that September night,
The first time you ever saw me cry.
Maybe this is wishful thinking,
Probably mindless dreaming
If we loved again I swear I'd love you right.
I'd go back in time and change it but I can't
So if the chain is on your door, I understand.
But this is me swallowing my pride,
Standing in front of you saying I'm sorry for that night,
And I go back to December.
Turns out freedom aint nothing but missing you,
Wishing that I realized what I had when you were mine.
I'd go back to December turn around and make it alright.

Turns out freedom aint nothing but missing you,
Wishing that I realized what I had when you were mine.
I'd go back to December turn around and make it alright.
I'd go back to December turn around and change my own mind.
I go back to December all the time.
All the time.

Starting to like business.
The late nights and extra work is paying off.
Definitely put the cherry on top of my midterm mark. :)

I'll Be There
Unstoppable
It's all finally starting to pay off.
Today was a really good day.
It was one good thing after the next.
Let's hope I can keep this up.

To Whom I May Concern,
If there was something left unsaid, just say it.
You can't get an answer unless you have a question.

Back to Basics
I went home this weekend knowing that if I wasn't productive I'd hate myself.
I wasn't productive. At all.
But going home was the best decision I could have made.
So nice seeing you all.
Both of you always know the right things to say to get my head back into place.
Sometimes its as though you know me better than I know myself.
You know when I'm telling the truth, and you know when to call my bluff regarding my true feelings and intentions.
You mean the world to me.

Haven't watched this in ages but need to get back on track.
Love this cover. And the blazers.

This Is A Problem
Lately I've developed an inability to sleep.
I need to spend more time sleeping and less time thinking.

Life Update
Mom's house to myself this weekend.. that's what's up.
Hoped it would keep me focus, but probably going to have the world come over.
Whateverrr. :)
I'd go stay with my Dad in the city, but they're renovating and I can't deal with the noise.
Can't wait too see friends!
School's been going pretty well, just not to happy with calculus.
But of all my courses, that's the one most irrelevant to my future so I really don't care how good or bad I do.
I dropped off my holiday availability at AE today. I can't waiiiit to go back. The new manager is amazing. :) So is the yellow Pikachu jacket.. jokes.
All my other problems seem to be solving themselves pretty quickly. I can finally say I don't really have anything to stress over. I hope it continues to get better. We'll see.
Brb making real food.

I Could Produce Your Future, I Could Co-Direct Your Past

I do it big, I shut it down, I wonder if you’ll be able to handle me,
Mental picture, no cameras please”
