Pet Peeve # 10
Alright.
I know this is the tenth, but this is definitely my number one pet peeve of all time.
Ever had one of these douchettes in your class?:
Teacher: So then the electrons move into a state of excitement, causing them to exert more energy.
Douchette: (raises hand)
Teacher: (clenches fist because of the millionth interruption of the day) Yes, Douchette?
Douchette: So Miss, you're saying that the electrons, which are negatively charged, will jump up an orbital level as this enables them to release more energy.
Teacher: ...
SHUT THE FUCK UP!
If your going to raise your hand, ask a fucking question.
Don't raise your hand to see how far you can shove your nose up the teacher's ass and FULLY reiterate what she just said.
Do you think it makes you look smart?
Well guess what! You look like a deaf fucking assclown.
I hate this.

Dina's Quote of the Day
"You can spend, minutes, hours, days, weeks or even months over-analyzing a situation;
trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could've, would've happened -
...or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and

The Anatomy of a Watermelon
"That's why there's so little romance in our world now: everyone thinks romance is weak. Yet romance is everyone's secret dream- it's why we're alive. Never distrust romance; nothing could be stronger."

Dear Stranger ;)
Well it's on my mind
I'm heading back in time
And when I think of all the songs we used to play and then I
Think of you and it's alright,
I think of you and it's alright.
Well it's this sort of thing that gets me to lose my mind
And it's the flash flashy eyes that make it worth while
And it's every time when we, we get together
We just fall in love again...
All in all it's the perfect scene
And there's not anywhere that I would rather be
And it's now, now or never when we're chasing our dreams
And oh we're getting close now, don't turn away.
It's on my mind I got I got it all and I wanted you to come inside
It only takes just a second when you understand you're out of time
It only takes just a second when you understand you're out of time.
All in all it's the perfect scene

OWWW my really hot & sweaty 6-packed stomach is killing me
Fun night tonight. :]
It's too bad everyone couldn't make it, but I still had a pretty legit time.
I met some more really chill people, which was awesome.
Reallly shoulda cut down on the pasta though.. I feel nauseous.
More importantly, it was nice seeing you again.
But it always seems to remind me of how we barely see each other.
It fucking sucks.
But when I'm with you, I feel like we pick up exactly where we leave off.
And I love that.
Somehow everything will fall into place, I know it.

Friday Night
And another long week of school is finally over.
Thank Jesus.
Not gonna lie though, it's not all that bad.
When I get home I just need to keep focused to make up for all the socializing time during lunch & spare.
But anyway, going to Boston Pizza tonight.
Should be pretty sick, lots of friends going that I rarely ever get to see.
AND MY 2 FAVOURITE ARABIC BABES ARE GOING :)
Defz gotta reach Starbucks after.
Ahhh I LML.

Welcome to the good life
Not gonna lie, I love my life now.
There's nothing wrong with it- nothing.
I couldn't be happier and more thankful for knowing all the people I know and having all the things I have.
I really miss seeing some certain people I don't get to see all the time, but I'm glad we still manage to talk over the phone or on MSN sometimes.
I love grade 12.

As we make our great escape
So baby don't worry,
you are my only,
you won't be lonely,
even if the sky is falling down,
you'll be my only,
no need to worry,
baby are you down, down, down, down, down?
Fucking love this song.

That smile,
Irresistible.
So glad we could finally put our shit aside.
My bad though.. sorry.
I have no idea why I did all that.. everything was just so rushed and I said things that I didn't think twice about.
It's good to just be keeping it normal with you.
Can't wait to see what the year brings.

So like I said before, the music in Jennifer's Body was probably the only good thing about the movie.
Panic's new song is featured in it.

Jennifer's Body
FAIL.
With the exception of the 30 second make out scene with Amanda Seyfried- FAIL.
It just made no fucking sense.
And Megan Fox didn't look like herself for most of it too.
How am I supposed to run the jerk to her when I keep having images of her eating the shit out of someone with fangs and white eyes?
Only pluses was some of the music.
That's about it.
My advice: Fuck the movies and spent $11.50 on a crepe at Demetre's.

Spare Abuse
AMGG.
I never knew Blogspot worked from school computers.
On my spare now.
It's probably the only time of day I look forward to, besides first period drama.
I should probably be doing my homework, but I can never do homework in school- ever. I don't know why. At home, I can focus 100% and resist all temptations. But at school, I can't even read a page of something without being distracted.
Bahh.
Whatever.
I need this spare to keep me sane this year.

Thank God!Jordan Lloyd wins BB11.
This girl has the be one of the nicest and funniest housemates of all time.
It's good to see a genuine and respectful person win the game for once, rather than the same old schemers.
Usually I'm a fan of the good schemers, but I had to make an exception for this girl.
Congrats. :)

17 going on 12: The Tragedy
I see you at the corner of my eye, laughing and talking shit. And I don't give a fuck if it's at me, cause you know how much I love the attention. But I mean at them.
Too bad you only have 2 people who actually give a fuck.
No, not the several you think, 2 people.
Why?
Because the second you turn your back to them, they're the first to come up to me and inform me of everything.
Everyone's on my side of things, so give it up. Don't think people aren't misleading you to figure shit out. Guess it does pay to kiss everyone's ass after all, even if I don't really like them.
It's funny how you can just stand there and talk all this shit when any one of us could turn around and crucify you with our remarks. And you know we could. And you know I could. But we don't.
Why?
Because we have this thing called class. You should really consider adding it to your vocabulary. I've done jack all to you. And to know yall can't move the fuck on is actually quite confidence-boosting. Seriously, we're fucking acting our age and your still acting like a niner. What the fuck is with that? You should feel humiliated.
So next time you stand there talking shit to people thinking they give a shit, just know your only reinforcing my point. Besides, you should here some of the things they come and tell me. And it's not just about what you guys said, or dry stuff and dirt on you, but their new opinion on you.
Don't even bother apologizing. It means nothing to me. Just like your presence. But I'm just trying to show you some mercy and give you this simple advice: stop digging a fucking hole, get some class, and grow the fuck up. This is a train wreck everyone's laughing at.
Thanks.

Just wondering,
Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Wanna forget everything and go for the relapse?
Or you just being civil?
Or are you just faking it?
Whatever it be, I miss it.

Council Couch
Our student council room is basically my second home.
I've been in it almost everyday since grade 9.
It has a computer, a couple of cabinets, chairs, a big chalkboard, and a desk. There are glow-in-the-dark stars and paint all along the walls and ceiling so when you turn off the lights it looks pretty sick.
BUT, my favourite part of the room would have to be the old couch the used to be in it.
It 's a three-seater sofa that had to be the ugliest thing in the world, yet the most comfortable. Rumour has it the now brown couch used to be white.. which I don't find very hard to believe. However, on the first day of school I discovered something rather tragic.
So I walk into the council room the first day and the lights are off, so I didn't see much. After I walked across the room to turn on the lights, I first realized how clean the room was. The custodians must have cleaned it over the summer holidays. However, it felt abnormally larger.. as though something was missing. Then it hit me. The couch was gone. I was devestated. That couch represented memories I never want to forget. Some funny, some sad, some happy, and some well.. let's just not go there. :P
It felt like someone had died. I had such a good first day back but everytime I thought about the couch, my heart would drop.
I went after the meeting to ask the custodians where it disappeared too. Apparently, their were things living in the couch- including large insects and mice, which is bullshit I'm not buying. Sooo basically now we're on the hunt for a new couch. I will honestly donate the couch in my living room to have a couch in that room. I miss going there after meetings and staying there until the sun had set, usually just talking about life in general with people and stuffing our faces with food.
But in the meantime,
If anyone has a couch to donate let me know. :D

And for some reason I can't wait.
I'm excited to see everyone again.. and really excited for drama class.
Gonna be the best 3 for 5 yet. >:]
Chem & Bio should be interesting to deal with in the same semester.
Hopefully I can pull off the same marks, and if not, something better.
At least I have fourth spare though... even though I know it'll be spent socializing.
bahh whatever, I'll pull through- as always.

Pet Peeve #9
Those little anorexic white girls with a Hollister shirt, Abercrombie bootie shorts, lululemon headband, Uggs, and fake Chanel sunglasses who strut and parade through the malls with their boy chests and flat asses pretending to talk on their DAD'S cellphone. Then they proceed to block the fucking store singing Justin Beiber and posing for their camwhore photoshoots. Ffffuck. Get out the way. Sherway is infested with these LG's nowadays. This is exactly why I'm sick of the suburbs. I wanna move to the city sooo bad.
District 9
Biggest trip.
I had to keep reminding myself every 10 minutes that I was watching a movie and not the Discovery Channel.
It felt like a documentary.
Slow at the beginning but picked up at the end.
Creative idea though.. and I liked how the ending wasn't too Hollywood.

Deuces Portugal
So after the gym today I headed over to a PURE Portuguese sports bar on College Street.. which is the Little Portugal of T.O. Why? Portugal was playing Denmark in a qualifying match for the World Cup. Basically, if they lost, they might as well be out. I mean, mathematically they have a chance.. but they'd have to rely on some pretty shitty teams. So of course, as always, Portugal has the ball a majority of the time and the ball rarely left Denmark's side of the field.
But here's the thing: Portugal is a great team and all, but they just don't know how to fucking SCORE when it comes down to it. We musta had fucking legit 800 shots on net and nothing was going in. So Denmark scores and all the drunk dudes start cussing out the tee-vo and spilling their Coronas. Fine. So then less than 10 minutes before the head of the game, Liedson comes outta nowhere and scores with a beautiful header. At this point, some of the people who had lost faith and were walking out the door turned their asses around and suddenly everyone is standing up praying to Lord Jesus of Nazareth that they can get in another one. Of course they have 9384438839 oppurtunities and shots on net but don't score and tie the game.
Fuck.
PS. Everyone on College became a Brazil fan today :)

In the city of blinding lights
I decided last night to go stay with my dad downtown. Haven't ever stayed overnight and I was feeling spontaneous, so I decided I'd give it a try. We ended up going to three separate restaurants- one for apps, one for dinner, and one for dessert. And that's why I love going downtown. I've always considered myself to be an urban guy. I'm sick of the suburbs. Too boring, too uptight, and too conservative.. especially living on the southwestern side surrounded by richy-riches who only set foot outside to bring out the garbage.. that is, if they don't have a maid to do it for them.
Downtown has everything. It's a lot more diverse and there's something for everyone. It's not the same thing everyday. I mean- you can only go to the movies, Square One, and Lakehsore so many times without getting sick of it.

In the News :O
Last night, former co-Finance Minister/partner in crime/good friend of mine hosted a fundraiser event called "Make a Splash" at Oasis Convention Hall. It was awesome. There was an open-bar, music, performances, tons of people, moshpits, and some dancing.
In fact, it was so good that it's in the newspaper, bitches.
AND, of course they feature the sexiest table in the picture.
Cccheck-it.

Sao Miguel - Portugal Summer '09
Check out my pictures from this trip on Facebook. :)
Despite the Canadian-like shitty weather in August, losing the darkest tan I've ever had, and being put away from the really nice beaches, I'd have to say I had even more fun in Sao Miguel. Unlike Lisbon, where I was just with my mother, her parents, and my brother, here I would be with my father, his parents, my aunt, brother, and about 35 to 40 relatives- unincluding the ones already there!
My father had rented our a condo in Ponta Delgada for us to stay in for the next two weeks. It was legit the biggest condo I had ever seen. My only complaint was the beds felt like concrete, which is apparently a typical thing in the Acores. Whatever, I here it's good for your posture.
The thing about my family in the Acores is that a majority of them are farmers. So not only did we have the oppurtunity of going to many of their houses, but we went to a huge farm as well. A relative of mine Emmanuel, is the second largest producer of milk in the Acores. So the farm was pretty much all cows... plus the 200, 000 rabbits. Haha, the rabbits were even lined up in order of execution date.
Besides all the country kind of stuff we did, we also went on some scenic tours. We went to Sete Cidas, a big crater which had to be the nicest thing I've seen in my life; Furnas, which has water and steam coming from deep below the earth that was rising to the surface and smelt like rotten eggs; and some other very green areas. Because of the increased concentration of sulfur in the soil, plants are able to grow much more effectively, causing a lot of the island to be covered in green. The island is also on a functioning volcanoes, which universities are monitoring at all times. The best part of the sight-seeing epicness would have to be Victor driving us from place to place because he drives like a psychopath at 120 in a 60 around sharp corners and cliffs. :) My cousins and I LOVED rocking out to the Enrique Iglesias there. Haha jokes jokes.
Back in Ponta Delgada, there'd never be a dull moment at night. Pretty much everyone from that city and some other towns would go to the centre of the city, Compo San Francisco, and there would be live music, bars, gypsies, and a hell of a lot of drunks all over the place. What do you expect? The drinking age there is 16- and that's only to buy alcohol. There is no DA for actually drinking it... :P So the "Comp", as most people called it, would stay alive until about 1 am.
The best night had to be when we went clubbing for my cousin Leigh-Anne's 18th. I used a significant portion of all the ice cream change I had not given back to my aunt to buy drinks for us. We started of at the Comp at 10 and I was getting really anxious to go to the club. Apparently, according to some of our local relatives, they said the clubs didn't get exciting until about 2. I wasn't buying this as I thought it was some attempt to make me not want to go anymore. But there was no way my cousins and I wouldn't end up going. So at 1 we finally walked to Fair Play Nightclub. I thought my brother probably wouldn't be allowed in considering he's only 14. However, we all got our drink cards and got in no problem. We walked in to discover it was body painting night. I started to get uneasy cause I was wearing some pretty expensive shiz. Thankfully, it was only the staff who got body paint, which consisted of some really sketchy-looking girls and raging, flaming, 10,000-feet-away-from-the-closet homos. The club was kinda smaller than ours back in Toronto, which is expected since the population of the island is a lot smaller. It was probably three times the size of my bedroom... or, for those of you who have never had the pleasure of being in my room, about twice the size of a regular classroom. There were also only 30 people and not one person dancing. I was getting kinda pissed, cause I had looking forward to clubbing here for months. My cousin from Sao Miguel reassured me that it didn't get exciting until 2 am. So of course we're amongst the first to start dancing cause my family is full of crazy ass party animals like that and, as my cousin had said, by 2 am it really did get exciting. People began to pour in out of nowhere and by 2:30 it was legit wall-to-wall packed. I'm usually a big fan of strobe-lighting and lasers and all that migrane-inducing shananigans but in there they seemed to take it a bit to seriously. They'd flood the room with hot ice gas to the point where you could only see the people directly beside you and then turn on the strobe light at the same time which tripped me out wayyy to much. The music had changed from cheesy 80s song to some current hits and intense techno & Euro music I've never heard of. My club experience seemed great thus far until I decided to go to the washroom. My cousin, Austin, and my brother had to go as well so we decided to mission through the pack of people together. We walk into the washroom area to see three sinks and a big mirror, which is to be shared by both males and females. The actual "business-part" of the washroom, however, was separated by gender. So we walk to the male side and notice that there is a big metal slide-door we had to pull. I knocked in case it was an individual washroom but obviously couldn't hear anything cause of the music. So we pulled it open a little- and when I say pulled, I mean pulling with all the might fucking in me. The metal door scrapped along the floor and would probably take me a good miute to fully open all the way. So we opened it to create a gap that we could just about fit into. We noticed that there were two urinals in use meaning it couldn't have been an individual washroom. We had contemplated on whether or not we should enter considering the size of this washroom was literally 2 metres long and 4 metres wide, just including the urinals. If we had entered we'd be no less than a couple of centimetres away from the backs of the dudes pissing which is kinda space-invading so we decided to wait. Some huge jacked dude, however, did not and cut right in front of us and entered. As I was about to say something, I had noticed he squeezed passed the dudes pissing and went into the one stall in there, which was maybe 2 metres by 2 metres. A guy finally finished pissing and I entered to notice the two urinals were seperated by maybe 30 cm... without a wall. They might as well of had you piss in the same fucking one for fuck sakes. I really had to go, so I just went. I was in the middle of my piss until I noticed that the guy who had cut in front of us was in the stall with another guy who was pissing while he watched. LMFAO. I had never finished pissing so fast in my life. I booked it out, washed my hands, and returned to the dance floor. We partied it up until about 4am and left. Not only could we not hear anything upon leaving, but we reeked of smoke. I swear to god its the law to smoke in Sao Miguel. Everyone does it.. even 16 year olds. As we were walking back to the car, I was reminded that I had to be at the airport at 7 am- that morning- to go see some more cousins who were arriving. That's pure sacrifice right there.
And that's the thing about Sao Miguel right there-the best thing. Family is always willing to make huge sacrifices and go to the extreme for you. We'd go over to someone's house for lunch or dinner- more than 25 of us at a time- and they'd be willing to cook a full-out meal for you. They're always willing to drive you around places, even after they've been working their asses off for you. I even got to witness my relatives slaughter their two pigs for us- which is also a pretty big sacrifice. It's kinda corny, but being there really made me appreciate and love my family and realize how important it was to me. It opened my eyes to the roots I never knew I had and strengthed my relationships with everyone. Despite the fact that I had been taken away from 35 degree weather and beautiful beaches, it was the times I had with family that more than made up for it. I really look forward to returning... hopefully with all the family I've learned to love even more.
