We went to see "The Crazies" after.. WOW most fucked up movie of life.
I don't think I've ever jumped so much in a movie before.. or gagged. It wasn't even that it was scary with just pop-ups, but they show really disturbing things in addition to it.. and you're forced to watch it. Like I'm talkin bout watching a bitch get stabbed with a pitchfork, people getting shot in the head, getting their lips sown etc.
Quite entertaining hearing some of you pussies scream though :)
I visited U of T today.. I keep falling more and more in love with it. It's amazing how incredible the insides of these buildings are.. I can't believe some of these rooms still exist.. legit looks like a castle.
This shall be a roughhh decision..

Sooo I was bored and decided to check my OUAC and apparently I got into Commerce at U of T... sweet deal. It was my last choice and the only full business program I applied to, but who knows.. maybe I'll make a last second switch?
Soo now that's U of T Commerce, Waterloo Science & Business joint, Waterloo Life Sci., Western Health Sci., and Western Biological & Medical Sciences.
Just waiting on U of T Life Sci., McMaster Life Sci., and Queen's Life Sci.. don't really care about Queen's and kinda care about McMaster.. eager for U of T though.

What am I leaning towards?
Western Health Sci., Waterloo Science & Business joint, or U of T Life Sci.
Visiting the campuses this month. We'll see how things go.

i learned how to make tea. i didnt think it was so simple. and i got breathed on by some creep behind me for two hours. :P
but yeah, good times. maybe next time our triplet will join us. hmmm :)

Valentine's Day (The Movie)

Nooooooooo!
I had such high hopes for this movie. But yeah, it was shit.
Now don't get me wrong, the cast was STACKED, and the acting was either excellent or garbage. The only people I really bought into were Patrick Dempsey, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Queen Latifah, Ashton Kutcher, and Julia Roberts. MVP definitely goes to Jennifer Garner.
As for everyone else, I was really disappointed. I just felt that a lot of the roles seemed really forced.. they were trying to hard for a laugh or did not know how to portray a realistic relationship. Then again, I can't full-out blame the actors. Basically, the scriptwriters were shit. I wouldn't be surprised if it were written by a kid.. a lot of the jokes were really weak.. a lot of immature stuff too, like people randomly banging there heads on things, extremely unbelievable awkward conversations, and a lot of sex talk. It was pure immature Western humour, which I'm not really a fan of. This was especialy true for the young girl who played Grace. I mean, her teacher asked her for help with some shit at lunch, and she responded "I'm having sex with my boyfriend, sorry".. the DAY I would here a girl say that to a teacher. That's bullshit.. and that's not even the half of it.. her teacher DIDN'T CARE. AND, in addition to that, her teacher seemed to enjoy (yes, as in sexual pleasure) hearing about it and she started squeezing her pop can randomly.. idk I didn't get the joke at all. Oh, and she was probably like 45+ :/. And no one really laughed.. just the 13 year olds in front of me. She also has a full-out conversation to the GRANDPARENTS of the boy she is BABYSITTING about how she plans to have sex with her boyfriend. This is beyond unrealistic to me. Oh, and I was kinda disappointed with Taylor Swift's acting. Fuckin love her to death, but she reminded me of when I used to take acting classes when I was 7.. very cliche American teenaged acting. But like I said, it all goes back to the shitty script. It didn't feel like a romantic comedy at all.. just a comedy. I can be a sucker for those kinds of movie, but I wasn't even slightly moved throughout the whole movie. The endings were extremely predictible (except when you find out 2 of the guys are gay.. random to the point of disbelief) and the plots in each couple's ending seemed to go nowhere. Either they ended up with next to nothing or they had sex. Idk I just think that the writer perceived love as sex... and I think they could have done so much more with such a generic topic that would've made it easier for people to relate to and feel emotional for. The sex wasn't even a result passion, it seemed like they just did it for laughs.. and there were far more giggles and wtf's than aw's.

In a nutshell: Valentine's Day < Love Actually.
Valentine's Day was evidently the Americanized knockoff of the Brit comedy Love Actually and it failed miserably. It's funny how one is complete garbage and the other is my favourite movie of all time, yet the theme of love and the idea of multiple storylines is incorporated in both.

just got back from my first day of my final high school semester.

great day though..

philosophy. oooooomg. this class is going to be AMAZING. i have so many good friends in it and were all sitting at the back corner like a kilometer away from the board. my teacher is really interesting too. im looking forward to this class.
3c lunch i can already tell is going to be even better than before. i know even more people and FINALLY DINA HAS MY LUNCH sooo we all pretty much chill at the student council corner.. theres like 20+ people everyday.. its kinda funny. always a party.
and finally there's english. at first my teacher seemed shy but once we had a discussion after reading an article, she seemed really cool.. and she's young, so she'll be easy to relate to. and i reconnected with an old friend which was great haha :P
