My Wife's Poem. I Teared :)

As we leave the nest, we continue on our journey to the next.
We must remember where we came and exactly how we left.
We started out scared because we didn’t know exactly how to start
Making up pieces to this puzzle of our life, this genuine part
Getting initiated and placed among the worst
Doing whatever we could not to wear that golf shirt
Being picked to be on a team in gym last
Playing the murder hand game in drama class
Watching someone step on a weave
We’ve had fights we’ve had misunderstandings but red is what we all bleed
Let’s take a jog in the past and not shoot the memories dead
But let’s forget all the unnecessary things we said
A shout out to my friends and anyone I’ve met
And any of the friendships that I’ve forever kept
From Trish to Laffsz to my Htwin or to the Jones
We’ve always stayed close, even when we were alone
We’ve gone through everything and back
Thanks to our Moms for telling us to never give up
And always there every step and when we needed a hug
Thanks to our Dads who always said we could do more
Because of you we succeeded and are able to step through this door
Thanks to our siblings for brightening up every day
And inspiring us to do whatever we wanted and in whichever way
And to those who made us smile
To those who made us cry
No matter what you’ve done, you’ve ultimately made us fly.
So as we stand today in our caps and black gowns
We push away all the silly frowns
Instead, Let’s leave today with a subtle goodbye
With sweet memories and a look to the sky
Dripping throughout the blood vessels in our muscles is all that we have dared
And a trail expressing how many memories that we shared
Countless weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds in time
So much time spent and Memories is what we thought we could find
It is what we found and even more in fact
Wondering what we had and what we lacked
I just hope you all never forget the "how & when"
The connection that only you grade 12 graduates & I can comprehend
We’ve grown and we’ve gotten in touch with every emotion in our every vein
Seen tears on others and watched them fall on our face as we were in pain
Crossed paths and cut corners when we knew we couldn’t
Did plenty of unproductive things when we knew we shouldn’t
But we did it and we learned value from the rest
We grew out of our fears and became the version of us that was the best
When you look at where you are and how that came to be
You can only appreciate the view you presently see
We look to a world where we can strive to achieve
Autonomy is ours and we are finally set free

G20 Hippopotamuscrits

There's no way one can justify the rationality of holding such an event in the capital OF capitalism in Canada. Obviously Toronto will be the most susceptible to attacks on capitalistic business (ie. Starbucks, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel etc.). Had this conference been held in a remote location and more discretely, this could have been avoided. Hippopotamus

Regardless though, at the end of the day, the selected location was Toronto. And does this justify the hypocrisy of protesting against spending a billion dollars when they’re exactly what the money is being spent on? No. Does this justify the hypocrisy of burning police cars and destroying businesses in order to fight police violence? Absolutely not. Does this justify contributing to the development of crowds that cause HOSPITALS to be on LOCKDOWN? Definitely not. I think both government officials and protesters are in the wrong but that gives no fucking right for protesters to worsen these actions by imposing dangers on civilians. And I say this from the prospective of a son who’s father owns a restaurant literally around the corner from the heart of the attacks and a house on the same street as the protests. It’s one thing to see this on the news put to be amidst all of this chaos is actually sickening.

Inspiring

We need more people like this in our world.
It makes me want to go into healthcare.

Self-Fact #29

Working out calms me down.
It's my high.
Best stress-reliever ever during these crazy times.

Mississauga

Each minute I'm losing straw by straw.

Self-Fact #28

Based on my behavior the past couple of days, I think I'm an adrenaline junkie.
I always find myself doing overly spontaneous things for fun.
I guess I need a change in scenery.

Months Later...

I don't even want to hear it.
Save it.

16. Uniform infractions?
Like everyday. 4/5 days I'd wear the blue school V-neck pullover over a plain white T-shirt instead of the polo shirt with school pants and black and white Chucks. The other days would be the same thing but the school sweater.

17. Skips?
Way to many to count. Basically, if I knew we weren't doing anything in class and I could be doing something better, I didn't go. I don't see anything wrong with that. Oh and sometimes it would be to study 8-)

18. Lates?
A few times during first period or after a lunch.

Naww b.

20. Weed?
Haven't even tried it. 0:)

Nothing extreme. Surprisingly a bit of beef in IB. Apparently I was a "snob" even though noone fucking knew me going into high school. Grade 11 got a bit rough towards the end of the year as well :P

23. Worst thing you didn't get caught for?
Yeah I'll keep that to myself :)

24. Detentions?
That's so 90's lol..

25. Suspensions?
Psht no.

LUNCH/CHILLAGE
26. Favourite lunch spot?
The council room or the cafe. Too lazy to go out everyday, especially in grade 12.

27. Favourite lunch?
Wraps from the caf. The only good thing in there :)

28. Best lunch moment?
The random day we went to the farm in front of our school and there were fucking cockroaches in the mailbox and we booked it across Hurontario and the cops honked at us for J-walking and we ran faster to not get caught. :) Talks in the council room were good too.

29. Best chill spot?
In school in the council room or backstage.. and on weekends downtown or Square One area pretty much ALL the time.

MOMENTS
30. Most embarassing?
Well let's take a few from the lengthy list.. falling up the stairs constantly, teachers booking PDAs (when P was intended to be for private), having a teacher honk at me while I was J-walking in front of his car, accidently texting the person I was talking shit about because I was thinking about their name, teachers booking us giving each other lapdances in play :P

31. Most regreted?
The one lunch last year where I screamed at someone at the council corner (don't remember who) and stormed into the council room with someone (don't remember who either). That's not me :)

32. Most proud?
When council appointed me to be on council in grade 9 even though I knew no one on it. My hotseat interview was so jokes :P And then being re-elected every year after that. If not, then the 96 on my grade 11 chem exam.

NEXT YEAR

First year uni.

Well, going to Waterloo for Honours SciBus with a major in Bio.

A Finished Chapter

They say high school is supposed to be the best four years of your life.
Some people beg to disagree, but I'll be the first to say they've been the best four years of my life to date.
I guess I'm just one of those guys who made the best out of high school.
I've grown so much in every way and made tons of friends.
It only just clicked that I'm never going to see some of these people again.
I guess that's just life. You're always going to have to leave some thing behind if you want to move forward.
In just a few months, I'll start a whole new chapter of my life. It'll be a complete change.
And hopefully a change for the better.
Bring it.

YAGGABOMBS

Goodlife is letting teens aged 14-17 work out free all summer.
That's when it sucks to be 18, especially earlier on in the year.
I'll work something out. So excited to become a gym addict.
SUMMER TWENTYTEN GTL BABY.

I'll Die Trying

To bridge the gap between my fantasies and reality.

Alter Ego

Not lovin it.
You're better than that.
Way better.

If I've Learned Anything

Give Me Popsics, Give Me Cheese

That's what makes me Portuguese.
This man is my hero. (L) Totz looking for him at Bellewood's soon times.

I Told You So

So I'm pretty sure if you scroll down I criticized people who cheer for the team that, at first glance, appears to be the team most likely to win so that it looks like they're cheering for "the right team".
I specifically mentioned Germany because it seems that a lot of people are randomly supporting them this year.
I also tried to stress that anything can happen and that the team most favoured to win generally doesn't end up winning.
Today Germany lost to Serbia.
Take it in, bitch.

When All Your Lies Become Your Truths

I still get lost in your eyes
And it seems like I can't live a day without you
Closing my eyes till you chase my thoughts away
To a place where I am blinded by the light but it's not right

It hurts to want everything & nothing at the same time
I want whats yours and I want whats mine
I want you but I'm not giving in this time

Once You Have Me You'll Always Come Back

Repost. One of my favourite "fuck you" songs :)

A Couple of Months

So damn stoked I could pee.
About time I started with a blank slate.
Can't wait to give it my all and do what I love.
And most of all, I can't wait to just enjoy life up there and make new friends and strengthen my friendships with those coming with me.
I really think this one is going to be for the better.

Exams

Data: Nbd.
Calculus: Soft.
Vectors: Oh fuck..
Philo: Didn't really learn anything this semester..
English: Wtv.

Overall, I'm just going to try but not really give it 100%. All I need is a 90+ avg. and I'm just worried about calc. I don't understand why people try so hard to exceed 90s.. like wtf do you think is going to happen? Confetti isn't going to fall from the ceiling. Either way you're going to still end up in the same program at the same university. Just understand what you need to know for next year and that's really all that matters.

Go For It

I've got nothing to lose.
You can't even begin to fathom a hundredth of what I already have that you don't even know about.
Besides, it's a hopeless cause.
Then again, it's really entertaining watching your failed attempts.
Pceee.

Pet Peeve #27

A few things about the World Cup:

  1. People who ask "why you're wearing your country's flag" after you tie or lose. Umhh pretty sure I can represent and support my country whenever the fuck I want thanks.
  2. People whos countries aren't even in the World Cup so they just watch the first couple of matches and cheer for the team that appears to be the strongest so they "look good" cheering for the "right team". Pretty sure the team most favoured to win never ends up winning so good luck..
  3. People who talk shit about their own team. Don't call out players and criticize everything they do, ride or die for your team. It's even worse when people say they know their team will lose and have negative spirit and then you turn around after they actually win and all of a sudden they're covered in flags and going crazy.
  4. Team Germany. Pretty sure three of the four guys who scored in the first match were Polish. The team isn't even fucking German so stfu.
  5. People who criticize players for diving and faking injuries. It's part of the sport dumbfuck, this isn't ballet. You would do it too if it meant getting ball possesion and stakes were that high.

A Good Day

Bought Gaga tickets in the most legit possible section in the lower bowl for me, Michelle, and Joey.
Italy tied.
Made an intense sale at work with some Portuguese guy + his 3 kids who kept asking me for advice, smack talking Italy, and talking about Portugal.
Met up with my best friend.

I'm so grateful for all my close friends, my job, and all those who have made me who I am.
I feel blessed.
I can't wait to take on summer and begin seeing those of you at other schools who I don't get to see often.
Most of all, I can't wait to start the next big chapter of my life at UW and begin living in the city with my dad in the summer.
I'm lovin my lifee.

13 June 2010

5 6 7 8 UHHHHH FEELS GREAT

Met up with Nadimmm last nightt.
Haven't seen the guy in ages. Still so depressing you moved to Gonzaga.
A day doesn't go by where I don't think about you babe.
Psht k maybe a few :)
Anyways, we watched Get Him to the Greek and I must say I was unexpectedly amazed.
Funniest movie I've seen in a long time. Russel Brand just kills me idk. Anyways, here's one of the random music video thingys in it. I actually died. If you don't watch the whole thing at least watch the end.
To watch the first five minutes of the movie go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFHOzarT78Q&feature=related

Autographs & Apologies

So much for the autographs
So much for apologies
So much for the promises I never intended to keep
How does it all add up?
How does the story end?
I can't let go
I can't pretend
Very I'm so friendly
Very I'm so halloween
So this is what I wanted
Gotta keep those channels clean and other sobering themes
I'm drowning by numbers
My halo is bent
It's a fat fucking lie
And so the abstract motor gives in
It says "At least I tried."
At least I tried.

Pet Peeve #26

This one is a biggie:
People who use full ring tones as their text message alert noise.
How do you not go crazy listening to the same verse of a Justin Bieber song 300 times a day?
Change that shit and use a single beep like everyone else.
I seriously contemplated getting off the bus today and waiting for the next one because of some broad..

Did You Forget That Love Was Dangerous?

There's a mystery inside my head
And it's you dripping all in red
Did I hurt you?
Let me make it safe and sound

Can you feel me breathing down your neck?
You're just a perfect little human wreck
But I like you
Enough to destroy you - tear you down

Now We Feelin So Fly Like a G6

Amazing evening.
Jack's, square, singing black babies, hot Spanish waitress, and photoshoots at Kariya.

Dear Isabella,

Since I promised you I'd default pic you and can't resist keeping Chow in my picture, I've decided to feature you here on my blog. Fortunately for you, I was creeping some pics from last year and I came across some very classy shots. I also put them in downhill order. Enjoy :)
Love, Bobo :)

The Inside Lingo Had Me at Hello

Her bone structure screams "touch her, touch her"
And she's got the curse of curves

Hypocrites: You're All Here For the Very Same Reason

Cause you can't jump a track
We're like cars on a cable
And life's like an hourglass glues to the table

It's a struggle gotta rumble trying to find it

I Taste the End

After this english assignment on body image, I'm in the clear.
Just exams and I'm done.
Thank God.
MMVA's this weekend too.. and shouldn't be a problem missioning anywhere since my Dad lives literally half a block away.
So stoked.

Just Smoke One Cigarette and Hush

Alejandro controversy: calm the fuck down.
Everyone came to me parading about how they'd been truamatized and shit.
Just watched it and honestly don't get the big deal.
The swallowing of the rosary was a bit too far, I agree.
But if people took the time to stop fucking watching things with closed minds and a complete lack of intelligence, they won't see what things truly represent.
The video is basically about the struggle between sexuality vs. religion.
It's basically directed towards the hypocrites who condone homosexuality because of religion and essentially cause them to "choke of their rosary". They're essentially doing it to them so to criticize the "swallowing of the rosary" is to criticize their own actions.
As for the sexual choreography, give it a fucking break. It's dance. If it was anyone else no one would have a problem with it. It's funny how people are okay with things behind the scenes but then so quick to judge it when it's right under their nose.

Confessions of a Shopaholic II

Good times today.
Chilled on Port Credit/Lakeshore, ate at The Shack, visited vintage stores and a tattoo parlor, went to the mall, and got my shirt for Civves tomorrow.
Sorry for motivating you to blow your money on shiz. But too many good deals.
Anyways, To Do With Lysan:
-Get a tattoo (and go into the parlor not looking like hardcore LP preps)
-Visit a psychic
-Aftershow next week
-Make tie-die v-necks and tanks
-New York?

FORCAAAAAAA.

FRIIIIDAYYYYY!
So stoked. Portugal & Brazil FTW!
Can't wait to hit up hardcore Portuguese bars downtown and Bellewoods with peeps.

Summer Mixup

See You, Breathe You

Don't even talk about the consequence
'Cause right now you're the only thing
That's making any sense to me
And I don't give a damn what they say, what they think
'Cause you're the only one who's on my mind
I'll never ever let you leave me
I'll try to stop time for ever, never wanna hear you say goodbye

Off With Yo Head

I'm going to miss you all so much. Thanks for all the fun times.
We all got so close this year.
It broke my heart how we all showed up at the stage today habitually even though it's all over.
Summer chillage errrrday. (L)
